Privacy Policy

Bachat Code (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the Bachat Code website and Android app (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account details: your name, email address and username. Your password is stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read it.
Content you add: the coupon titles, codes, offer details and terms that you submit.
Wallet activity: your wallet balance, the codes you unlock, your earnings, top-ups, refunds and withdrawal requests, including the UPI ID you give us for withdrawals.
Payment information: when you add money, the payment is handled by Razorpay. We receive the order ID, payment ID, amount and status. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or net banking login.
Technical information: your IP address and browser or device details, which our hosting provider’s server logs may record. We also use your IP address, in a scrambled form and only for a short time, to limit spam sign-ups.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and let you log in.
To show coupons, process unlocks, credit earnings, issue refunds and handle top-ups and withdrawals.
To prevent fraud, fake or duplicate coupons and misuse of the Service.
To send you service messages, such as password resets, and to reply to your questions.
To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

Razorpay processes payments for us and has its own privacy policy.
Our hosting provider stores the website and its data on its servers.
Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google, so Google may receive your IP address when a page loads.
Authorities, when we are required to do so by law or to protect our rights and users.

Other users cannot see your name or email. They only see the coupons you add.

4. Cookies and stored data on your device

We use cookies that are needed to keep you logged in and to keep the Service secure. The app also saves a few static files on your device so pages load faster and an offline message can be shown, and it remembers if you dismissed the “Install app” prompt. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this page.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Some records may have to be kept longer where the law requires it.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS, hashed passwords and a PCI-DSS certified payment provider. No online service can be 100% secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.

7. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose you did not agree to. Write to us at contact@bachatcode.in and we will aim to reply within 30 days. This policy is meant to follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Children

The Service involves payments and earnings, so it is meant for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
